This track is a homage to Danzig and T.S.O.L. (True Sounds of Liberty), so the lyrical themes are rooted in 80’s punk. Ricky said there is a lot of borrowing from the Return of the Living Dead soundtrack, which is littered with punk songs. The overall lyrical content of the song has to do with taking back a dead city from the ghouls which have overrun and currently inhabit it.
